Take a hike around the Playhouse Square District this week!

Historic Gateway Neighborhood Corporation’s award-winning Take a Hike Tours continue this Thursday Jun 14 at 6 p.m.

These free, guided, outdoor walking tours of the Playhouse Square District occur every Thursday from now until Sep 13. Tours begin in the Hanna Building lobby (1422 Euclid Avenue Cleveland).

Each tour lasts approximately one and a half hours in length, and features actors and actresses portraying historic figures from Cleveland’s past. The tours explore the Gateway District, Warehouse District, Civic Center, Playhouse Square neighborhood, Canal Basin Park in the Flats and University Circle. Entertaining and educational, these tours offer visitors and residents alike the opportunity to learn about the history, culture and future plans of each tour area. Geared towards adults, the tours also offer younger audience members the chance to explore Cleveland in a whole new way.
