Squawk! It’s Time for the Parrot Head Run!
Grab your running or walking shoes and come help raise funds for Fostering Hope!
The 2018 Parrot Head Run is happening this Saturday Jul 14 in the Flats East Bank (Old River Road & W 10th Street Cleveland), with a Scenic 5K Run and 1-Mile Walk.
Packet Pick-Up/Race Day Registration will begin at 9 a.m. The chip-timed 5K will begin at 10:30 a.m. with the un-timed 1-Mile Walk following. Enjoy a Post-Race Party at Margaritaville at 11 a.m.
The cost to register for the 2nd Annual Parrot Head Run is only $40 and registration can be completed online by going to http://hermescleveland.com/roadracing/events/parrothead.asp.
All registrants get a race day t-shirt, finisher medal and access to the after-party. There will be prizes for male and female age brackets, as well as best Parrot Head Attire.
Proceeds from the event go to Fostering Hope of Ohio and support overall youth wellness. https://www.fosteringhopeohio.org/. The inaugural 2017 race raised $12,000 for the organization.
