Cleveland Marathon Running Into Town

The 41st Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon is happening this weekend!

The festivities kick off with the Health & Fitness Expo on Friday May 18 from 12-7 p.m. at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland (300 Lakeside Ave E Cleveland). This event is open the public.

Come enjoy over 100 booths featuring health and fitness products and information. You can also register for the big race and pick up your packet. There will be official race merchandise sales.

Saturday May 19 at 8 a.m. the Rite Aid Cleveland 5K and 8K will take place in the Public Square (1 Public Square Cleveland). The 1-mile takes place at 10 a.m. and the Kids’ Run at 11 a.m.

Take the opportunity to check out the Health & Fitness Expo from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Enjoy a Pasta Dinner, served at the Arcade (Hyatt Regency) from 6-8 p.m.

Sunday May 20 will start off with the Rite Aid Cleveland Wheelchair Exhibition at 6:50 a.m.

The Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K (runners and walkers) will begin at 7 a.m. The starting point is on Ontario Street, at the Quicken Loans Arena (northwest corner of the building) and the finish line is on Superior Avenue and W 3rd Street Cleveland.

Check out the We Run This City Youth Marathon Program at 12 p.m. 600 Middle School students from Cleveland Municipal Schools will run 1.2 miles to finish their 26-mile training at Detroit Ave and W 32nd.

Finish off this wonderful celebration with the 26.3 Mile Finish Line Rock Party, beginning at 8:30 a.m. It is open to the public and includes a live rock concert, food, drinks and a Beer Garden!
