Cleveland, Are You Ready To Rock?

Hey Cleveland, it’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame week!

Saturday Apr 14 marks the 33rd Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (1100 Rock and Roll Blvd Cleveland) at 7:30 p.m. Unfortunately, the Induction Ceremony and Official Simulcast Party are both sold out, but that doesn’t mean you can’t join in on the festivities!

General admission tickets to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for adults are $23 in advance and $26 at the door, Seniors (65+) are $21 in advance and $24 at the door, Youth (6-12) are $14 in advance and $16 at the door, ages 5 and under are free, college students are $21 in advance and $24 at the door, Military and First Responders are $21 in advance and $24 at the door and Cleveland residents are $19 in advance and $20 at the door. Members are always free, and a member guest is only $20. Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.rockhall.com.

Thursday Apr 12 the Rock Hall will have special hours of 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. From 12-1:30 p.m. you can come check out the special presentation “Silent No More: #MeToo and the Music Industry”.

Join the Rock Hall and SiriusXM for a Hall of Fame Series with 2018 Inductees The Moody Blues. Justin Hayward, John Lodge, and Graeme Edge of The Moody Blues will discuss their Induction, careers, and influence. The event begins at 7 p.m. with a Moody Blues-themed happy hour featuring food and drink specials. The event will be live streamed on the Rock Hall’s Facebook page and fans can submit questions during the Q&A directly on our Facebook page.

Also available at the museum on Apr 12 only is a full day looped screening of Days of Future Passed Live (2 hr 15 min) concert film in the Foster Theater (1 p.m. – 9 p.m.) Free with admission.

Days of Future Passed Live features The Moody Blues performing their groundbreaking 1967 studio album Days of Future Passed in its entirety as part of PBS’ popular concert series “Great Performances.” The special was filmed during a 2017 summer tour stop on July 7 in Toronto at Sony Centre. The screenings are free with Museum admission and seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The film is presented by Eagle Rock Entertainment.

On the big day the Rock Hall hours will be from 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. The PNC Rock Hall Live Stage will have music from Recess, Mike St. Jude and the Valentines. The Red Carpet Livestream will be happening from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Get a sneak peek at all the action with red carpet arrivals on rockhall.com, the Rock Hall’s Facebook page, or on the Rock Hall’s YouTube page.

The sold-out Induction Ceremony takes place at 7:30 p.m. and will honor Bon Jovi, The Cars, Dire Straits, The Moody Blues, Nina Simone, and Sister Rosetta Tharpe. The Ceremony will air on HBO at a later date.

The 33rd Annual Induction Ceremony afterparty will be held at the House of Blues (308 Euclid Ave Cleveland) with special guest DJ Questlove. Doors open at 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, Apr 14. DJ Questlove will host a 3-hour set. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 day of and can be purchased online at https://www1.ticketmaster.com/event/0500546AA2074418.
