Experience a bright and innovative way to warm up your holiday season, this weekend!

Winter Lights Lantern Festival happens this Sunday Dec 2 from 1 – 6:30 p.m. at The Cleveland Museum of Art (11150 East Blvd. Cleveland).

Celebrate the holiday season and be inspired by the centuries-old, cross-cultural tradition of ceremonial lighting displays! The Winter Lights Lantern Festival features lantern displays inside the museum and the Environment of Lights installation on Wade Oval.

The day culminates in a procession through the Environment of Lights led by community lantern artists, illuminated dancers, and giant puppets.

This event is a part of Holiday CircleFest, a free annual University Circle-wide celebration presented by University Circle Inc. The museum offers an array of activities and entertainment, including workshops for making simple lanterns for the procession.
