A Christmas Story Run 5K/10K Happens this Saturday!
Nothing brings out that holiday spirit more than the classic move, A Christmas Story. But how about a Christmas Story Run?
Take a trip down memory lane to the most iconic movie set locations at A Christmas Story Run 5k/10k, this Saturday Dec 1 at 9 a.m.
The movie producers must have been runners, because the distance between the former Higbee’s Department Store (100 Public Square Cleveland) and the A Christmas Story House & Museum (3159 W 11th St. Cleveland) is about 5K. This race attracts serious runners, everyday runners and walkers alike!
Dress up like Ralphie, run in a Leg Lamp Costume or jog in the Bunny Suit that Aunt Clara gave Ralphie for Christmas!
The 5K will run to the A Christmas Story House & Museum. The 10K will run to the House and back to the original starting area at Public Square. For the 5K runners we are bringing you right back to the center of Cleveland, in front of the old HIGBEES building where the movie was filmed.

Proceeds from the race benefit the A Christmas Story House Neighborhood Restoration Project. This non-profit foundation was established to restore and maintain the neighborhood surrounding the A Christmas Story House & Museum for future generations to experience and enjoy. The foundation provides grants, both public and private, to projects that enhance and preserve the surrounding neighborhood.
