It’s all about the beach this weekend in Cleveland!

The 4^th Annual Cleveland Sand Festival is happening this Saturday Aug 4 at 8 a.m. on Edgewater Beach (6700 Cleveland Memorial Shoreway Cleveland).

More than 50 teams from across Northeast Ohio will hit the beach to determine who reigns supreme at this summer festival! The event combines volleyball and sand castle construction to present a unique opportunity for Cleveland architects and designers to engage with the public on one of Cleveland’s premier beaches.

Here is the schedule of events:

8 a.m.                 Sand Castle Build Begins

10 a.m.               Volleyball Tournament Begins

1 p.m.                 Public Voting Begins

3 p.m.                 Parade of Castles, Celebrity Jury

4 p.m.                 Championship Game and Awards
